Mullins Family Gifts: Two Blanket Finishes and Small Keepsakes

June 12, 2026

Mullins family gifts - O'Mullins family crest woven blanket on tartan background from the Mullins Irish heritage gift collection

The Mullins range offers a clear choice between a textured woven blanket and a soft printed throw, plus a mug and a framed Christmas ornament. For a big occasion, begin with the recipient’s preferred fabric and available space. For a smaller gesture, choose something that fits an existing routine or collection.

Mullins gifts at a glance

For a milestone at home: the Mullins woven throw

Mullins Irish Woven Blanket | O'Mullins Family Crest Tartan Throw. The cotton-yarn blanket has a woven family design, Irish National Tartan and fringed edges, in 52 × 37, 60 × 50 and 80 × 60-inch sizes. The listing references O’Mullins, so check the displayed lettering. It suits an adult home gift where a textured finish matters.

For everyday comfort: the printed Mullins blanket

Mullins Irish Family Crest Tartan Blanket. This alternative is a 50 × 60-inch, 100% polyester throw, with a one-sided print, white reverse and hemmed edges. Choose it for someone who prefers a lightweight sofa layer. The two blanket listings offer different constructions, not simply different prices for the same fabric.

For the kitchen or desk: the Mullins mug

Mullins Irish Heritage Accent Mug. The 11 oz glossy ceramic mug pairs the family-name artwork with a black handle and interior. It is microwave and dishwasher safe. It is a good choice for a relative whose favourite drink you know but whose home does not need another large item.

For a Christmas tradition: the framed ornament

Mullins Irish Family Crest Christmas Ornament. The Mullins ornament has a silver-tone metal portrait frame, 3.25 × 2.31 inches, with a one-sided design and satin ribbon. It is compact enough for a thoughtful family gift exchange. Choose it for someone who enjoys bringing familiar decorations out each December.

Keep the spelling personal

Use Mullins if that is the name the recipient wants to display. References to O’Mullins or other forms in a product description do not mean every spelling can be added to the design. Check the photographs, and use the family-name gift guide if you are choosing a maternal, maiden or changed surname.

For a new arrival, honour the household

A surname gift can mark a family milestone with a mug for a parent or an ornament for the household. A woven or printed throw should be an adult-use keepsake, kept out of an infant’s sleep space. The family connection comes from your message and the chosen name; the decorative emblem does not document a particular ancestry.

Mullins gift questions

How do the Mullins blankets differ?

The woven version uses cotton yarn, fringe and three sizes. The printed version is a 50 × 60-inch polyester throw with a white reverse and hemmed edges.

Is a Mullins blanket suitable as infant bedding?

This guide recommends the blankets for adults or display. Keep loose blankets out of an infant’s sleep space and choose a keepsake for the parents instead.
