Eccles takes its name from the village of Eccles in Berwickshire, in the Scottish Borders — the place name comes from an old Brittonic word for “church,” making it one of the region’s older surnames.

This flag is printed on both sides of 100% poly poplin-canvas fabric, so the design shows through correctly whichever way it’s facing.
