The Story Behind the Design

The Frasers earned that readiness early. Sir Simon Fraser — remembered as "the Patriot" — fought alongside William Wallace and Robert the Bruce in the Wars of Independence, winning a famous triple victory in a single day at Roslin in 1303 before he was captured and executed by Edward I. A warm blanket is a far gentler way to keep that fierce old name close of an evening.
