Moore Family Gifts: Irish Mugs, Blankets & Christmas Keepsakes

Moore family gifts - O'More family crest woven blanket on tartan background, Lords of Laois heritage gift collection

For an everyday Moore gift, start with the 11 oz crest mug. For a wedding, anniversary or shared family present, choose the woven cotton blanket. For Christmas, the ceramic ornament is a small keepsake with a clear place in their home. The best choice is the one that fits a familiar routine: tea at the kitchen table, an evening in a favorite chair, or putting the family decorations on the tree.

This guide focuses on the Irish Moore collection. Its green tartan backgrounds, surname lettering and crest artwork offer several ways to make the name part of daily life.

A woven blanket for the home they have made

A blanket is a thoughtful choice for the parent who hosts every family gathering or the grandparents whose sofa is everyone's favorite place to sit. The Moore design is woven into cotton yarn and finished with fringe. The green tartan background, crest artwork and large MOORE banner give it the presence of a decorative textile as well as a usable throw.

The Moore woven blanket is available in three sizes. Measure the intended space before choosing.
  • 52 × 37 inches, $64.99: a compact accent for a chair or smaller display area.
  • 60 × 50 inches, $84.99: a versatile sofa-throw size.
  • 80 × 60 inches, $104.99: a larger statement across a sofa or bed.

Lay out a tape measure in the intended space rather than relying on the photograph for scale. For an anniversary, several relatives can contribute to one blanket and add a card with a memory from each household. The listed care is straightforward: machine wash cold and tumble dry low.

A mug for the person who likes useful presents

The Moore crest mug holds 11 oz and has a glossy white ceramic exterior, black handle and black interior. It is microwave and dishwasher safe. Choose it for Dad's desk, a sibling's first apartment or the relative whose tea order you know by heart.

An 11 oz mug makes the Moore name part of an everyday ritual.

If they already have a favorite oversized cup, consider the coasters instead. The four-piece set has 3.75-inch square glossy tops and natural cork backing. A mug and coaster set also make a useful pair for a housewarming; each is sold separately.

Christmas, gatherings and small spaces

The ceramic ornament has a double-sided print and gold hanging string. It suits the family who adds one meaningful decoration each year, and it is easy to give to several Moore households without needing anyone's clothing size.

For someone who enjoys wearing the name, the harp T-shirt is a Gildan Softstyle 64000 unisex style in S–3XL. Black, Forest Green and Irish Green are listed. Compare the size chart with a T-shirt they already wear comfortably; a reunion photograph is more enjoyable when everyone likes the fit.

There are also choices for a defined spot at home. The 18 × 21-inch Moore wall pennant is $32.99 and includes its wooden dowel and twine. The Moore garden flag starts at $24.99 in 12 × 18 inches, with a 24.5 × 32-inch option at $32.99. Choose the flag for someone who already has a suitable stand; the pole is sold separately.

Give the Moore name its own personal meaning

One Irish Moore tradition is associated with Ó Mórdha and County Laois. Moore also has other origins, so a known family place, photograph or shared memory makes the most personal addition to the gift. A card might recall the kitchen where everyone gathered or the relative who first told you the family story.

Use the spelling the recipient uses today. Moore, Moor and O'More deserve an exact match in the displayed lettering. For a birthday or holiday deadline, allow time for made-to-order production and transit, and review the current shipping information before ordering.
