The O’Feelys were a Gaelic family of County Sligo, part of the broader Connacht Irish world with a documented presence in the annals of the northwest. The name has variants across Connacht and carries the Atlantic character of the Sligo coastline and the drumlin country of the Irish west. Still found in the northwest of Ireland and among the Irish diaspora in North America and Australia today.
Construction
The Feely crest and Irish National Tartan are woven directly into the cotton during production — part of the fabric structure from the start, not a print added to the surface.
