Gallagher Irish Woven Blanket | O'Gallagher Family Crest Tartan Throw

Gallagher and O’Gallagher are anglicized forms associated with Irish Ó Gallchobhair, “descendant of Gallchobhar.” Patrick Woulfe records the family in Tír Chonaill, centered in modern County Donegal, and as marshals of O’Donnell forces from the fourteenth century onward.

This Irish woven blanket pairs the O’Gallagher family crest with the Irish National Tartan, creating a substantial name-centered keepsake for a sofa, reading chair or family room.

Craftsmanship

This blanket is woven from premium cotton yarn — the O’Gallagher family crest and the Irish National Tartan formed within the textile during weaving, part of the cloth structure rather than a surface print. Rich woven depth on both sides, a soft and substantial feel, and traditional fringed edges complete a piece made to carry the Gallagher name into everyday family life.
