The Story Behind the Design

The Grierson crest and tartan are printed on a cotton T-shirt and a fleece crewneck sweatshirt, giving two ways to wear the family name.

Clan Grierson's traditional lands centre on Lag in Dumfriesshire, in southwest Scotland, where the family were long prominent landowners. The crest carries the motto Hoc Securior, "Safer by this."

The T-shirt is soft, breathable cotton with a relaxed unisex fit and tear-away label; the sweatshirt has a cosy fleece interior, ribbed cuffs and waistband, and pre-shrunk fabric for dependable sizing. Both are available in Navy, Royal, Black, and Forest Green, sizes S-3XL.
