Lynch Irish Woven Blanket | Family Crest Tartan Throw

This Irish woven blanket features the Lynch family crest against the Irish National Tartan, carrying the Lynch name into a substantial woven cotton throw for display, gifting and everyday home use.

The surname has more than one Irish historical tradition. Patrick Woulfe distinguishes the Norman de Lench family, a branch of which became one of Galway’s leading merchant families, from several Gaelic Ó Loingsigh families recorded in different parts of Ireland. Galway’s Lynch family held major civic influence and repeatedly supplied the city’s mayors.

Craftsmanship

This blanket is woven from premium cotton yarn — the Lynch family crest and the Irish National Tartan formed within the textile structure during weaving, not applied to the surface. The design is part of the cloth itself: consistent woven depth on both sides, a soft and substantial feel from the premium cotton, and traditional fringed edges completing the piece correctly.
