A separate line of MacLeods, ruled from the far side of the Minch. This MacLeod of Lewis tartan necklace sets the clan crest on a tartan background, printed in glossy full color on a lightweight pendant.

The MacLeods of Lewis — the Siol Torcuil — held the Isle of Lewis and lands in Wester Ross, a distinct branch from the Skye MacLeods of Dunvegan with its own long and often turbulent island history. Their crest bears the sun in splendour and the motto Luceo Non Uro — "I shine, not burn."
