This Porterfield Clan baseball cap prints the Porterfield crest and tartan on the front panel, along with the motto "Sub Pondere Sursum" - "I Rise Under Oppression."

The Porterfield name is tied to Renfrewshire, where the family held lands near the barony of Duchal - one of the older recorded landed families of the west of Scotland.
